Review -Tam of Willowing - and Freebie

I recently discovered Tam, who goes by Willowing in the art world.  She is an amazing artist and person.  She has had her share of life stuff, but seems to be very positive.  She is also a very giving person.  She has a free Ning site that has free classes.  And the class I am taking is AMAZING.  So much work went into this FREE class.  I am just in awe of her generosity and heart.  You have to check it out. I have learned a lot just in her first class, and she has 4.  I just need to have enough time in my days to do all the stuff I am dying to do :)  Here is a face I did from her first class (not the whole thing, just the face).  She has you do a soul searching activity and it was great to add art to healing.  I really enjoyed it.  I did a face with colored pencils after learning more about shading from this class.  I like this one the best of all I have tried so far.  Still working on getting the "look" I want.

She does a lot of healing type of work and words in her work.  I love it.  I LOVE her art.  It makes me happy to look at.  The textures, the colors, the pretty girls.  Here are just a few of my favorites from her Etsy store.

She does a year long mixed media art class with 2-3 classes a month from different artists.  She did it her first year for 2012 and is doing it again in 2013.  I SO want to take it.  It is a great deal too, just about $100 for one year.  She has some other offers also to get discounts on her other classes when you buy the Life Book class.  You've got to check it out.

So yah, I have found another artist to stalk.
